STEM Field Trips That Get Students Moving
Bring classroom concepts to life through interactive STEM education, roller skating, physical activity, and fun.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
Our three-hour STEM field trip combines education, lunch, roller skating, and physical education in one exciting school-day experience.
Students explore the relationship between STEM concepts and roller skating through an interactive lesson taught by an experienced educator.

Lunch at the Rink
Following the STEM lesson, students enjoy lunch before moving into the skating and physical-education portion of the trip.

Education Students Can Experience
Interactive Learning
Students do more than read about STEM concepts—they see and experience those concepts through roller skating.
Physical Activity
The field trip combines academic learning with movement, exercise, balance, coordination, and physical education.
Standards-Based Lessons
Lesson plans are designed to meet Next Generation Science Standards while presenting the material in an entertaining format.
Beginner Friendly
Students do not need previous skating experience. SkateMates help beginners balance and skate with greater confidence.
